We Can Help Set Aviation on a Secure Path to Climate Neutrality

The aviation industry has set a goal to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050*. This transition will heavily rely on new technologies, including sustainable aviation fuels. Clean methanol holds great promise for aviation as a feedstock for sustainable aviation fuels. Not only can it be produced from renewable sources, it can be combined with CO2 capture which makes it an attractive solution to achieving the industry’s zero-emissions targets.

Plug-and-Play

Our electrolyzer technology can be dropped into existing aviation fuel supply chains to turn carbon dioxide into e-methanol, which can be converted into sustainable aviation fuels.

How it Works

What is Sustainable Aviation Fuel?

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a renewable alternative to today’s jet fuel that can cut the carbon footprint of flying without changing the planes we use or the airports we fly from. Because it works as a direct “drop-in” replacement, SAF is one of the fastest ways to make aviation cleaner right now.

The challenge is cost and supply. SAF is still scarce and often too expensive for widespread use. That’s where green methanol comes in. As a versatile building block, methanol can be upgraded into SAF at large scale, creating a reliable and affordable pathway to sustainable air travel. By producing low-cost green methanol directly from CO₂, Oxylus helps unlock the availability of SAF — making clean skies possible sooner.
